HELPING AFGHAN REFUGEES

 Riverbend is partnering with Bethany Christian Services to help Afghan refugees that are being relocated to the Lehigh Valley. Help us be the hands and feet of Jesus as we help provide for some basic needs for these families.

Bethany is an organization that welcomes Afghan refugees who have fled their country in the wake of the Taliban's rise to power and the US military withdrawal. Bethany is projected to resettle 450 Afghan refugees in different communities across the country and Allentown is one of these communities.

Please see the list below and sign up the item and amount that you would like to contribute. Items will be collected in the bin in the church hallway for the month
of October.

We will be packing the bags on Sunday, October 31st.
